Dumelang bagolo!

I come bearing gifts. I’m humbled that I get to share my third single release, titled “Hero.” with you. From the surface, it seems like this track is about flexing (I’m an emcee, of course it is 😎), but with Orison, there’s always a deeper meaning.

The inspiration behind the song

The track album cover is really nothing fancy, it was a Saturday, and I went to take the Cressida to the car wash, wearing my chilled out Saturday got-nothing-to-do-but-relax attire.

I chose this picture to emphasize that not all heroes wear a cape,

  • Because the normal blue collar man is a hero, he is fighting for his family and he gets the bread, he wins the day.
  • The people at the car wash are heroes.
  • The person on the artwork doesnt look like he can spit bars, yet he’s gifted with the pen stroke.
  • The O’lady selling magwinya in the morning is also a hero, winning the day.

This track is about us, rona, thina, ons, the everyday man and woman leaving their home to enter the battlefield and win the day!!!

Keep It Moving

Whats good my people.
I Have with me today, the first single for the year 2023, titled ‘Keep it Moving‘
Just as a the name says, if you start something, you have to see it through. I think its quite befitting that we start things off this way because then, I have to keep bringing out the works.

 

Besides that, if something is no longer of value to you, then you gotta move away from it, be it a person, a place, a thing, a hobby, move as far away from such things as bloody possible and keep moving.

 

Everything on this earth is moving, and from my experience, things stop moving when
  • a) They are dead or
  • b) They are about to switch up on you and change direction.

 

So if you want to grow what you have, you have to give up the notion of stopping (other than a young pit stop to replenish, or a stop to assess, correct and proceed) and you must keep going.

 

The journey has plenty of ups and downs but, it must be undertaken.
